A tool for protection and decoration of wooden outdoor surfaces based on alkyd oil and water emulsion. Suitable for pressurized and untreated wood. Particularly suitable for planed wood. Do not use on painted surfaces. The Terrace Oil treated surface is resistant to cracks, dirt and atmospheric influences. Contains an additive that reduces the slipperyness of the wooden surface.
Limitations. Designed for processing terraces, formwork, staircases and other horizontal surfaces and handrails, stairs, fences, etc.
Surface preparation. The surface must be dry (not more than 20% wet), not affected by fungus (rot, mold, blue spots), dirt, grease and dust must be removed. Wood cleaning and bleaching with special tools. Clean darkened wood with brush, scraper and sandpaper. Replace rotten boards with new ones. Remove old paint from the painted surface. Primed or cleaned surfaces should be primed. Pressurized wood should be at least 6 months before treatment. Unwrought metal parts must be pre-lubricated with rust.
Usage. Mix before use. Apply 2 coats with a brush or sponge at not less than + 5 ° C and no more than 80 percent. air humidity. Apply the tool evenly from the edge to the edge, using wood fibers, thoroughly rubbing the surface without leaving unprotected areas. Apply the next coat after the measure penetrates into the wood. Remove any remnants of the product from the surface with a cloth. Thoroughly treat the sides and the inside of the boards. It is recommended to treat the surfaces exposed to the atmosphere every year throughout the year.
Drying time. Apply the second coat after 16-24 hours if the air temperature is 20 ° C and the humidity is 80%. At lower temperatures or higher air humidity, drying takes longer. Under normal conditions, the optimum wear resistance of the treated surface is achieved one week after coating.
