POWER TO GO FOR NOTEBOOKS, TABLETS AND SMARTPHONES
Not every airline offers passengers the facility to charge electrical devices on board aircraft. But if you are on a long-haul flight and would like to complete your presentation for an Asian business partner on your notebook, you are dependent on power. Even if you are lucky enough to choose your place of work and, as it’s summer, fancy writing the texts for a new campaign in the park, you cannot tap into the shady tree for power. Our USB-C power pack is always available with its large power reserves when there is no power socket at hand.
THE POWER PLANT FOR ON THE GO
With a capacity of 26,800 mAh, the external battery can hold a lot of power. This means that you can provide power to your notebook for up to 12 hours, for example. With a power output of 60 watts, this power pack is ideally suited for charging notebooks – many power packs can only be used for smartphones. Our power pack has enough power for a smartphone, tablet, notebook and console.
CLEVER AND FAST CHARGING
Input and output charging are particularly clever: You charge the power pack itself using a suitable charger; charging is optimised, as the power pack and charger communicate with one another. If you use a USB charger that supports Power Delivery, the 26,800-mAh power pack is fully charged and ready for your journey or open-air office in no time at all. But the power pack also knows which terminal device it is delivering power to, so that the correct amount of power is provided to the smartphone, tablet and notebook. The terminal device is charged optimally, efficiently and without damaging its battery. If your terminal device also supports Power Delivery, charging is completed quickly.
If you have an Apple device with Thunderbolt technology, you likewise benefit from the colossal power. What if you still have devices with a conventional USB-A port? The external battery, of course, provides two ports for such devices.
You can use all three ports at the same time – charge your new laptop on the USB-C port, and use the USB-A ports to charge your smartphone and tablet, for example. However, the charging power is then split between all three devices, meaning that the charging speed decreases.
Many manufacturers use inferior, untested cells for the batteries – in the worst case, the power pack blows up in your face when charging. Hama therefore puts great emphasis on absolute safety.
