The aqualis series reservoirs are equipped with a borosilicate glass tube which, unlike the acrylic glass commonly used for tube reservoirs, has very high hardness and scratch resistance, very low thermal expansion and excellent chemical and thermal resistance.

The glass tube of the 150 ml variant has an outer diameter of 50 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. The base and lid of the aqualis series are made of Delrin, the lid and bottom are connected by a stainless steel rod. A stainless steel baffle above the inflow opening in the expansion tank ensures good ventilation of the circuit.

The aqualis XT 150ml has an acrylic glass window integrated in the floor and has space for the installation of an LED (type 5 mm, not included in delivery) and is additionally equipped with an electronic level measurement with USB and aquabus interface, a configurable alarm output and an external temperature sensor input fitted. For monitoring and configuration the software aquasuite can be downloaded.

The four-pin aquabus interface also allows direct connection to an aquaero 5 controller (not included). The alarm output can either be configured as an artificial tacho signal for connection to a fan output with tacho signal evaluation (eg of the mainboard) or as a switching output, for example for switching an LED in the event of an alarm.

In addition to the measured level, the external temperature sensor input is also available for alarm monitoring. The external temperature sensor input is compatible with all temperature sensors offered by Aqua Computer.
