If you’ve gone and made the wise decision of buying a Mini Crane M1 or M5, you’re probably considering adding the R60 pan head to the bundle, for an even better deal. This panoramic rotation head rounds off the mini crane package nicely, yet another of Rollei’s exceptional professional photography kits. Having dedicated almost a century to the field of optical equipment, Rollei is a household name whose products you can trust for their exceptional quality.

It runs on the same type of system as all other heads used in motion pictures, namely fluid. What’s more, it’s made of aircraft aluminium, so you know your video will take off when you use this piece. Not only does the pan head offer outstanding surface hardness, but it’s also highly resistant to abrasion, thanks to the fact that it is coated with a layer of paint using the anodic oxidation method. So this hard-wearing, resilient little accessory will play a great role in all your professional projects for years to come.

Using the Pan Head R60 to enhance the functionality of your M1 or M5 panorama camera crane will completely change your perspective on photography, as well as your focal point. There’s a spirit level and a fine scale indicator for absolute positioning precision. The locking mechanism couldn’t be any simpler and the pan head itself takes a mere two seconds to set up. The space it takes up in your camera bag is negligible, and you’d probably forget it’s there; that’s how light it is. If you’re thinking on splashing out on just one piece of photography equipment this year, let it be the Pan Head R60, the ultimate video capturing accessory for professional motion pictures.
