Royal Canin Obesity Dog Dry Food
Описание товара на английском языке:

Over the past few years more and more pets are becoming obese. A common cause of excess weight in pets is over-feeding and under-exercising. Energy requirements have changed since nowadays many dogs spend most of their lives inside. They do not get the chance to run around a lot which means that they cannot burn the energy they consume, so these calories are stored as fat.
Being overweight not only affects your pet's well-being, it can also have long-term effects on your pet's health and ultimately reduce its life expectancy.

It is important to make sure your dog is the right weight. If your dog is a short-haired breed its waist and ribs should be just visible. If your dog is a long haired breed you should be able to feel its ribs easily. If you cannot see or feel the ribs your pet is overweight (or rather, if already on a diet, it has not yet achieved its ideal weight).

OBESITY MANAGEMENT is a complete dietetic feed for dogs formulated to reduce excessive body weight. This feed has a low energy density.

Indications:

• If your pet is overweight

Contraindications :

• If your pet is underweight or needs a lot of energy
• Pregnant or lactating bitches

Feed your pet with OBESITY MANAGEMENT until it reaches its target body weight. Maintain the ideal weight by feeding your dog either WEIGHT CONTROL or food for neutered dogs from the VET CARE NUTRITION range.

Key benefits:

• High protein: High protein content to help maintain muscle mass throughout the weight loss period.
• Balanced nutrients : Enriched with nutrients, minerals and vitamins to avoid deficiencies when calorie intake is restricted.
• Bone and joint health : Chondroitin sulphate (inhibits enzymatic degradation of chondrocytes) and glucosamine (stimulates formation of glycosaminoglycans) help to prevent degenerative joint disease.
• EPA/DHA: Fatty acids to help maintain a healthy digestive system and a healthy skin. Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are long-chain omega-3fatty acids which can help to reduce inflammatory skin reactions.
