Safety

At Maxi-Cosi we have carried over 50 million babies home from the hospital. As a leading specialist in child mobility, your little one’s safety is our top priority. Our intuitive and innovative toddler car seats are designed to protect your toddler and carry you as family happily into the future. External crash test centres, such as the German automobile organisation ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club), test our Maxi-Cosi car seat on dynamic safety and ease of use.

When the ADAC tested Maxi-Cosi Tobi, it scored above average on safety. The Tobi car seat is equipped with a Side Protection System (SPS), which means that in case your car has a harmful side impact, Maxi-Cosi Tobi’s SPS reduces the risk of your little one getting injured.

Our toddler seat also received a high rating in ease of use because it is so easy to install.

Top-rated seat belt-installed toddler car seat

Maxi-Cosi Tobi is a safe convenient car seat for your little toddler and for you as a parent. Its unique belt routing explains exactly how the car seat should be installed. The additional seat belt tensioner tightens the car’s seat belt for an extra secure fit. This way, correct installation is assured. Once installed, the innovative easy-in harness automatically stays open, so you can easily place your little one in the seat.

As your toddler grows, Tobi grows too. The safety harness and headrest adjust simultaneously to offer a perfect fit. Tobi has 5 ways to recline in sitting and sleeping positions, to make sure any journey is comfortable the whole way. For even more comfort, Maxi-Cosi Tobi offers an extra high seating position, giving your little one great views of what’s going on outside.

The toddler car seat fits most cars, because it is safely attached to your car’s seat belt.
