For this scion united all heroic deeds of the predecessors and outbid them again clearly. And from everywhere men poured forth to see their new master. And he was powerful, wise and kind.

The power insignia of the Genesis are a completely reworked and highly innovative design, a mounting option of up to three large fans, a variable contact pressure for even better heat transfer, superior build quality and extended socket compatibility.

While the previous tower coolers from the house Prolimatech showed certain similarities, the Genesis can fall back on a completely revised structure. It consists of two identical towers stacked on top of each other, each of which is supplied by six heatpipes. While the first tower towers vertically to the sky as usual, the second is flat.

Elaborate, unusual and chic, this design is undoubtedly, but what are its advantages? Above all, the cooling is significantly more independent of the ventilation of the housing, ie consistently high with different ventilation concepts. In addition, the motherboard components are better cooled around the socket than with pure tower coolers.

Both aspects arise from the perpendicular towers and the associated asymmetric fan assembly. A total of three fans can be installed on the Prolimatech Genesis, with either 140 or 120 mm models being used. Here, the vertical part of up to two fans is taken in the pliers, while the horizontal part can accommodate a fan on the top.

As a result, two different blowing directions can be realized simultaneously, which on the one hand distributes the discharged warm air more uniformly, but also allows fresh air supply from two sides. If each tower carries at least one fan, the Genesis benefits from both the classic front-rear airflow and side ventilation.

The processing quality of the exceptional cooler is once more decisive. But the mounting kit is also of outstanding stability and value. In contrast to its predecessors, even the AMD kit is already included in the scope of delivery. In addition to the Intel sockets 775, 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011, 2011-v3 and 2066, boards with AM2, AM2 +, AM3, AM3 +, FM1, FM2 and FM2 + are therefore also supported without additional requirements.

The accessories include three pairs of fan brackets, which are once the standard terminals for a fan (no matter what size), while the second and third pair of fan wire clips each fix a 120 and a 140, which is not in the Standard form come along, for example, but have a round inner frame, in which the standard fasteners would protrude into the rotor.

Notes: Approximately 49 mm of space is available from the bottom edge of the Genesis bottom plate to the bottom edge of the horizontal boom. Therefore, please pay attention to the compatibility to various RAM modules and look also to the manufacturer side .

There is also a compatibility list for various motherboards, which is not complete and, for example, does not yet contain Intel motherboards with 7er chipsets.
