A set of 5 Platonic solids for self-assembly.

Regular polyhedra, or Platonic solids, are at the basis of the queen of sciences - mathematics. Plato believed that they are the most perfect form and building blocks of the reality that surrounds us. Above the entrance to his Academy, he placed the inscription "Let no one who knows geometry enter here". Now you can build Platonic solids yourself and enjoy their perfection at home or at school. It is great fun for people who like to explore the world and irreplaceable help while learning geometry.

Mathematics and philosophy

According to Plato, the triangle is the basic building block of the construction of the world. You can create a tetrahedron, octahedron and icosahedron from it, and from two triangles folded into a square - a cube. These solids are the building blocks of the 4 elements that make up the world (fire, air, water, earth), and the unification of the whole is the dodecahedron.
