The Speed You Need.Breeze through apps with little to no load times, or shift quickly between gaming, working and browsing. We didn’t design our features to win speed tests. We did it because we want to enable you to do more in less time.
No frills. All speed. The goal of our software was to make the experiences you love faster and smoother. To us, speed adds more value than a bundle of apps you don’t really want. Whether you’re downloading a movie, playing a game or sharing a photo on social media, everything is fast and smooth.
Faster apps.To make OxygenOS even faster, we taught the OnePlus 6 to render what’s on the screen and nothing more. This saves processing power usually wasted on background images hidden behind search bars and invisible menus. As a result, apps speed up and load times are shorter than ever.
The speed to do more. We’d need a hundred pages to explain exactly what makes the OnePlus 6’s hardware so fast. So, instead of talking about the ISP, DSP, and GPU, all you need to know about the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 845 Mobile Platform is that it speeds up performance by 30% and lowers power consumption by 10%. This means you get more out of every minute, and more minutes out of every charge.
More RAM, faster performance.Everything you do on your OnePlus 6 uses RAM. More RAM means more speed. Watch a video, play a game and browse social media, then switch between them in an instant. We want to speed up your experience, so you can do everything you want to do in less time. That’s why we love RAM.
Gigabit speeds.Connect with the OnePlus 6. Download and share files, pictures and apps at a faster rate than ever with 4x4 MIMO. Stay connected across the globe with over 37 supported bands. Switch between networks on the fly with Dual-SIM support.
A day’s power in half an hour.OnePlus Fast Charge offers a faster kind of fast charging. It’s not just fast when the screen is off. It also maintains its incredibly fast charging speed while you’re using your OnePlus 6, so you don’t have to pause that movie to charge up.
Total view.Seeing more means doing more, faster. Our screen displays more content than ever before on a OnePlus device, offering a truly immersive experience. To keep the device slim and ensure a comfortable grip, the Optic AMOLED display makes optimal use of the front of the device with minimal bezels. Careful calibrations focusing on color accuracy and brightness make the display a pleasure to look at.
Full gesture control.Enhance your immersion with all-new gesture controls. Intuitive gestures make it easier than ever to navigate your device, while delivering a cleaner display and freeing up space on the home screen. Use gestures to return home, open recent apps, browse through your app drawer and more. Navigation is intuitive, fluid, and clean.
Your screen, your way.We all have our own ideas of what's beautiful. That’s why we’re giving you five different display modes, so you can tailor your screen to your liking. With the sRGB and DCI-P3 color calibrations, there’s a display mode for every set of eyes. Turn on Reading Mode when you want to focus on that new book you find, and use Night Mode to protect your eyes when the sun sets. This is your screen. You decide.
Keep it steady.Optical Image Stabilization is necessary for steady and crisp photos. That’s why you asked for it. So, it’s back on the OnePlus 6. OIS physically compensates for shakes and jitters to stabilize your photos. This means clearer and more stable shots.
Faster camera, slower video. With our new super slow-mo function, you can add dramatic flair to your clips. At 480 frames per second, our slow motion feature lets you capture the action frame-by-frame in astonishing detail. Videos are simply stunning, whether you capture them in slow-mo or in 4K at 60 FPS.②
Occasionally, you may experience flickering in your slow-motion footage, particularly when shooting near fluorescent or incandescent lighting. This is normal behavior caused by your light source's refresh rate. We recommend that you shoot in bright natural light for improved results.
Great portraits from every angle.A great photo tells a story. Coming to both the front and rear cameras, Portrait Mode applies a stunning depth-of-field effect to your photos to create a sense of intimacy with the subject. Customize the background blur of your photos to add a dash of personality to your shots.③
Professional video editing for everyone. Our new video editor allows you to trim and filter videos, manually add slow motion and apply reverse and loop effects. Our fully-featured video editor was tailor-made for videographers. And everyone else.③
Masters of glass. It’s built to endure, has a premium sense of heft, oh… and it’s made of glass. Our resident masters of glass used Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and back for an incredibly resilient and malleable build. A subtle curvature creates an uninterrupted body that plays with light and shadow to create patterns and highlights.
Refreshingly familiar. The OnePlus 6 is both a bold reinvention and the definitive expression of our design principles. With its smoothly-rounded corners and gently curved glass, the OnePlus 6 impresses from every angle. Trademark elements from OnePlus’ history like the Horizon Line, set it apart as an evolution of our design philosophy.
What’s your color? The OnePlus 6 will be available in three different colors. The Mirror Black variant is coated with a mirror sheen, giving it the look and feel of ceramic. For a more subdued appearance, the Midnight Black offers a clean matte look. Our third variant uses a dash of crushed pearl to lend a shimmering effect to a Silk White surface. Which will you choose?
Ready for rain.A special type of foam layered on the gap between the screen and the battery cover prevents water from seeping into the wiring. The use of waterproof materials in the headphone jack and fingerprint scanner prevents damage to key components, while the gaps around the buttons of the device are sealed using silicone loops. Thanks to water resistance, your OnePlus 6 is well-equipped to survive a drop in the sink or a spilled glass of water. Just don’t take it for a swim.①
Less lag. More wins. When you’re playing to win, even a millisecond of lag can ruin a game. You won’t win every game you play using Gaming Mode, but the increase in speed and reduced latency will improve your odds. Experience less lag, faster load-times and smooth animations. It also blocks notifications and turns off software buttons to keep you focused. Gaming is fairer, faster, and smoother. Whether you win is up to you.
The Alert Slider you need. The Alert Slider was created to reduce distractions. With your help, we have improved the Alert Slider on the OnePlus 6, giving you exactly what you need. Three toggles: Ring, Vibrate, and Silent. It’s the Alert Slider, defined by you.
