Simple, fast, secure and versatile - with the new Speedport Smart, Wi-Fi reception at home now picks up speed. Up to four antennas per frequency provide higher range and speeds of up to 2,100 Mbps. The Speedport Smart shows its generous side: Up to 100 possible WLAN terminals can be easily and simply integrated into the home network, compatible smartphones, for example, contactless via NFC or QR code, without entering long WLAN passwords. Thus, the new router is well equipped for the future connection with other devices in the smart home. This also applies to television with EntertainTV. Depending on the port you have booked, the router supports multiple high-definition TV streams simultaneously.

The Speedport Smart is suitable for ADSL, VDSL, vectoring and fiber optic connections. In addition to the two direct connection options for analogue telephones, it has a modern DECT CAT-iq 2.0 base station. These can be phoned with up to five speedphones in HD voice quality. High security is ensured by the default WLAN and DECT encryption as well as botnet protection for the home network.

Like all current speed ports, the new router supports the automatic configuration as well as the DSL help app, making it quick and easy to set up. The most important settings can be made via the new user interface in standard mode. For experienced users there is also the expert mode with extended possibilities. Flexibility and hospitality are also among its strengths: With WLAN TO GO or the new WLAN guest access, Internet access can also be shared with visitors and other users.
